With a dozen medical fitouts under our belts, the team at Colda Constructions were really excited to complete our first veterinary fitout.

We proudly completed this project early with a total fit out period of five weeks. Only the best materials were used to deliver this fresh and clean new space for the vet staff and their super cute patients. The medical fitout included:

• Lead lined X-ray room;
• Custom made front reception desk;
• Custom made joinery;
• Surgery room;
• Dog/cat separate consult rooms;
• Staff kitchenette and laundry;
• Reception/waiting;
• Two doors separate entrances for cats/dogs and
• Isolation room.

Client: Comprehensive Dental Care

We refurbished a red brick home built in the 1930s to a high spec dental surgery with 6 dental chairs/ surgery’s, lab, reception, disabled toilet and access, and more:

• Full services upgrade
• Structural works
• Heritage site
• Car parking
• Contract $700k

The client required the home to be converted into a dental office including reception area, kitchenette, bathrooms and 4 dental surgeries. The works required disability access, additional car parking and work to the original dwelling be brought up to code. It was a specialised project because dental surgeries require hygiene considerations and the use of large and heavy equipment in the rooms (e.g. reinforced flooring, suction and compressed air outlets). All the work was done to code. This design and construction project required working closely with a number of consultants and the Queanbeyan City Council.

We turned the old TAB location at Curtin shops into a modern and functional medical surgery. The surgery features a custom made reception counter by Colda Constructions, 4 consultation rooms, a treatment room and kitchenette.

Our clients are busy people and we provided our project management and design services to take the project from rubble to rebuild.
We have specialist knowledge of constructing medical premises and provide a one stop shop.

Client: Capital Coast Surgery

The project was for a medical surgery which specialises in minor and day surgery procedures. The surgery was to be constructed between existing tenants and Colda Constructions worked to complete the project without disrupting the other tenants whilst working to a tight deadline. The project was completed in 6 weeks and included:

• 2 consultation rooms;
• A recovery room and
• Procedure room.

Colda Constructions provided the custom built joinery which included the office reception counter, desks, bookshelves and storage solutions.

Location: National Capital Private Hospital, Garran

The project was for a medical practitioners office fitout which came about through a recommendation from a previous client of Colda Constructions. It was a very detailed and involved project and included high end finishes. The work was completed in an operating hospital and great care was taken to manage the project around the hospital services.

The project included:

• Custom built joinery including reception counter with stone top and natural timber
• Consultation room
• Examination room
• Waiting room
• Store room and
• Kitchenette

Once again Colda Constructions provided the custom built joinery. The client was extremely happy with the end result.
